Irish language media make a Rí-Rá about going online

Les Echos revealed that groups and NRJ NextradioTV sent an official letter to the CSA to signify that they waive their frequencies on the digital terrestrial radio on the cities of Paris, Marseille and Nice.

As "coincidence", these two groups did not obtain additional frequencies on the RNT in spectrum allocation in 2009. Such a withdrawal could be followed by Lagardère and RTL, the other two major groups opposed to terrestrial digital radio. So good or good news? The RNT can it be launched without the major networks? Of course! And it is even, we believe, a very good thing because it will free up a couple of places for other radios.
