User experience guidelines
Research shows that drivers expect a great, simple user experience, with a radio button to access DAB easily and quickly, an A-Z station list to browse stations, pre-sets that are easy to set, and terminology that is easy to understand.
WorldDAB has produced a set of UX guidelines for automotive manufacturers and broadcasters on how to deliver the best possible digital radio user experience. These guidlines were informed by research carried out in 2017 - read more about that research here.
