Internet, apps boost share of digital radio market - study

DAB+ Considered Growth Engine for German Electronics Industry

In-car digital radio is supported widely by the German Electronics Industry. Strong sales figures were presented at the 2013 , which will help to further impress the automotive OEMs. A recent forum called Digital Radio in the Car was held on Sept. 19 in Frankfurt, during the International Motor Show (IAA) during which VDA Managing Director Kay Lindemann said, "The network expansion is proceeding apace and digital devices are increasingly in-demand by consumers for the car. Our automakers reported from month-to- month more orders. The digital terrestrial broadcasting is now considered a growth engine for the electronics industry."
