WorldDAB has announced the first keynote speakers and topics for its 2016 General Assembly, taking place from November 9-10 in Vienna, Austria.

A tender for a DAB+ trial multiplex in Latvia has been won by “A-T TRADE MUSIC”. In November LVRTC starting mounting DAB+ equipment and the trial multiplex should be on air in November 2016 with 18 DAB+ channels. The multiplex will first be used Latvian Radio (LR) with 6 channels and shortly after commercial radio stations will be invited.

COLOGNE, Germany — Germany's national network for the digital radio multiplex (Bundesmux) is nearly completed, with the commissioning of four new transmitter sites in Kreuzberg (Bavaria), Biedenkopf (Hessen), Booßen (Brandenburg) and Aachen City (Nordrhein-Westfalen).
