Paneda win another major tunnel contract in Norway

Canberra, Darwin and Hobart will be the next in line for permanent DAB+ digital radio services, with commercial radio broadcasters today welcoming the ABC’s announcement that it intends to extend services into the three capital cities. Chief executive officer of industry body, Commercial Radio Australia, Joan Warner said commercial broadcasters were working closely with the ABC and SBS on the regional rollout plans.

Coles stretches lead in digital radio ratings

According to GfK’s DAB+ Digital Radio Report 4, Coles Radio is the most listened to digital radio station in Australia with 153,000 listeners – up from 151,000 listeners in the previous report. The 80s iHeartRadio (Australian Radio Network) was next best with 128,000 listeners (up from 119,000 listeners), while Buddha Radio fell to third with 126,00 listeners (down from 139,000 listeners).
