German federal and state governments want to push DAB+ forward quickly

Representatives of federal and state governments in Germany have called for a faster digitisation of radio broadcasting. The market dynamics at DAB+ continue: Last year, just under 1.3 million DAB+ radios were sold (2016: 1.2 million); Almost 40 percent of all new vehicles now have a DAB+ car radio on board (2016: 21 percent).
