Radio World speaks to Digital Radio Norway's Ole Jørgen Torvmark six months after Norway's successful digital switchover. Torvmark cites greater consumer choice across a wider coverage area, plus steady listening figures as examples of how the switchover has worked in Norway.

The Tivoli Audio Music System Home is an all-in-one music system that includes CD, FM Radio, DAB+, Bluetooth, WiFi, and Ethernet jack, a line input and a line output, and the addition of the Alexa Voice Assistant.

The CSA has published impact studies for 13 regions in France that will introduce DAB+ this summer. The study shows that introducing DAB+ will satisfy the plurality of programming required by law. Responses to the CSA's findings can be made no later than 27 June.

For safety and comfort reasons, all the tunnels of Swiss national roads will be upgraded to receive DAB+ digital radio. In all 27 motorway tunnels in northeastern Switzerland, the expansion is completed through the cantons of Zurich, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, St. Gallen and Glarus as well as in the canton of Schwyz along Lake Zurich.

The Essential is expected to become the effective entry-level model: it includes 16-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers, DAB radio, Bluetooth and air conditioning.

In a statement to Austria's Federal Chancellery, the Association of Private Broadcasters have stated it "should actively support new broadcasting technologies and platforms - eg DAB+, Radioplayer.at" as part of the country's future media landscape.​
