Following a DAB trial that has been ongoing in Kuwait City since March 2007, preparations are now under way for the second phase of the trail. This may include either DAB+ or DMB. The current trial is led by Kuwait Radio and broadcasts eight audio programmes from Liberation Tower on Band III, covering almost the whole country. A decision regarding commercial roll out is expected once all the trials have been completed.

A DAB trial has been ongoing in Kuwait City since March 2007. Six audio programmes are broadcast from Liberation Tower on Band III, covering almost the whole country. This experimentation led by Kuwait Radio could evolve to DMB and DAB+ trials in the coming months. A decision could then happen for a commercial roll out.
