UKRD-owned Eagle Radio is to launch a spin-off digital-only station on the new Surrey local DAB multiplex when it goes live next month. 'eagle3′ will play chart hits as well as new and emerging music. The station says it will give talented young local people the chance to get their music heard by a much wider audience.

The Pure Evoke D4 is a portable DAB digital and FM radio that comes in real walnut or oak veneer and costs £130. The Pure Evoke D4 with Bluetooth will come in real wood domino black or glacier white matt for £150 and offers wireless streaming for the extra cost.

Digital radio listening throughout Australia has reached a high of nearly 13 percent, meaning that more than 1.6 million people are listening each week. The number of digital radios sold continues to rise with 87,555 DAB+ devices sold in 3Q2013 (according to 3Q2013 GfK Marketscope report). The total number of digital radios sold since the 2009 launch has reached 1,406,151.
