From 1 October DAB+ radio broadcasts will be on air. More channels will be launched in the coming months and will cater for children and young people.

On Tuesday, October 1st Polish Radio started broadcasting via DAB+.

The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross now offers DAB as an option.

The 2013 Volvo XC60 now comes with DAB as standard.

The Landesmedienanstalt LFK plans to expand the capacity of digital radio from four to seven digital commercial radio programs, plus an additional separate channel for non-commercial local radio. The launch of the tender for the commercial offering is scheduled for October with the aim of starting transmission for the beginning of January 2015.

As of 1 October all Polish Radio channels, including the external service, will be available in DAB+.

Roberts Radio has begun equipping its digital radio receiver with Bluetooth, including models, Revival, BluTune 40, BluTune 50 and 60 BluTune.

Bayerischer Rundfunk will present information on digital radio during the week long exhibition in Franconia Wuerzburg. Digital radio experts will be on hand to answer any questions on the future of radio. A raffle for digital radios will also be held for visitors of the event.

From Friday 27 September, programs broadcasts via DAB digital radio by RAI will be broadcast throughout the country via DAB+.
