Regionalised DAB+ coverage in North Rhine-Westphalia: DAB+ multiplex in the Münsterland region launches on 1 July

The expansion of regionalised DAB+ radio broadcasting in North Rhine-Westphalia continues to progress: Media Broadcast has successfully launched the DAB+ multiplex for the Münsterland region at three locations. This marks the roll-out of the sixth and final region of the regionalised DAB+ network in NRW. With the start of broadcasting, up to 16 programme slots with a wide reach are now available to independent radio broadcasters in the Münsterland region. Listeners can now enjoy an expanded range of regional programmes in digital quality. The Münsterland region is served via the three sites in Münster, Schöppingen and Recklinghausen. The following six stations are now available via DAB+ in the Münsterland region: Radio WAF, Radio WMW, Radio Kiepenkerl, Hit Radio Vest, Radio RST and Antenne Münster.
