RMF24 and Dewuradio granted DAB+ licences

On Wednesday, the National Broadcasting Council granted licences for the broadcasting of the radio stations RMF24 and Dewuradio via telecommunications networks. The former is set to launch shortly on analogue radio in Wrocław. According to the latter broadcaster’s website, it plans to broadcast on an experimental DAB+ multiplex. RMF24 is the RMF Group’s news portal and, since 2021, has also been an online news station. In recent years, the station has focused on online broadcasting. In April, the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) approved a request from Multimedia (RMF Group) to change the name of Radio Gra Wrocław to RMF24 Wrocław.
