Italian DAB+ has definitively reached industry maturity: over 14 million active receivers

Italian digital terrestrial radio has now moved beyond the experimental phase: this is confirmed not only by the growth in coverage, the expansion of the network plan and the annual registration of over one and a half million new cars fitted with DAB+ receivers as standard, but also by the convergence of industrial, technological and infrastructural indicators that point to a fully mature ecosystem. Agcom, too, now appears to be capturing a transformation that has already taken place in the real market.
