Luxembourg launches its test phase for digital radio
06.11.2025
- Luxembourg
Starting this Thursday, the first DAB+ signals will be broadcast from Dudelange, marking an important step in the transition to digital radio in Luxembourg. Installations in Hosingen and Jardin Napoléon will follow in the coming days. As soon as the first transmitter is operational, the radio stations concerned will be broadcast in ‘TEST’ mode. This test phase, which will run throughout November, will allow the installations to be checked under real conditions. Occasional interruptions or temporary outages are possible, in order to test the redundancy and stability of the system. It is essential to understand that this period is exclusively dedicated to testing. The radio stations broadcast will therefore carry the label ‘TEST’ until the official launch.
