ma 2025 audio II: DAB+ stations with strong growth

The results of the Media Analyse Audio (ma 2025 Audio II) published on 16 July 2025 attest to strong gains for radio broadcasters that transmit their programmes exclusively or also via DAB+ digital radio. More than 75 per cent of the German population (75.1 per cent) listen to the radio on an average working day (Monday to Friday). The ma 2025 Audio II figures show a further continuous increase in digital radio usage, particularly in the DAB+ sector. This distribution channel now accounts for almost half of all radio consumption. Providers that broadcast their programmes mainly or exclusively digitally are benefiting from this in particular - they are recording significant growth.
