DAB+ in Schleswig-Holstein: Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandfunk Kultur switch from FM to digital radio DAB+

Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandfunk Kultur will cease broadcasting via analogue FM at a total of nine locations in the northernmost federal state and will broadcast the majority of their programmes digitally in future. Together with Deutschlandfunk Nova and the special channel Dokumente und Debatten (Dlf DokDeb), the two programmes can already be received digitally via DAB+ locally. In view of the very good regional DAB+ coverage, Deutschlandfunk will end parallel analogue broadcasting at four locations on 30 June 2025. Deutschlandfunk Kultur will cease FM broadcasting at twelve locations on the same date. Deutschlandradio is supporting the switchover with marketing and communication measures on air, locally and online.
