National

On a national level, the DAB networks offer 19 channels with six commercial and 13 public. There are also four additional channels available in central Oslo only (DAB+) . All major FM radio channels in Norway are also available via DAB.

Regional

The 7 regions listed now cover apprx 84% of the country in total - the same as the national mux. The "NRK P1" is the main station for NRK (and Norway`s biggest single radio station), and has individual transmissions by region parts of the day. The reason there are more than one NRK P1 for each region, is that each region covers more than one county. NRK has teams in every county, producing their own content. 2 or 3 counties make up the NRK P1 "palette" for each DAB region.

The other channel which is partialy regionalised, is NRK Båtvær (Weather service for the coastline, aimed at boat users). This service is divided into 3 different areas (South, West and North), and only transmits in counties with a coastline.

Other channels are the same in all regions.
