By the end of 2007, an accumulated number of approximately 191,000 DAB receivers had been sold in Norway, and a total of 438,000 people (11.8% of the population) say that they have access to a DAB radio.
There were marketing campaigns in Norway throughout 2007 by top electrical retailers and other specialists in home stereo/cinema. This included special events in the run up to the key Christmas period. An example marketing image is pictured.
