Media DAB S.C.A.R.L.
The MEDIA DAB consortium was born in September 2019, as a consequence of the widespread work discomfort already encountered by broadcasters engaged daily in the analogue Radio Television sector, and the concerns related to the additional costs that could arise from the development of the experimentation on Digital Terrestrial "DAB". The mix of these issues has led us to find, as always, solutions that could support our members and the category in general. Currently, as a consortium, we are present with the rights of use to experimentation in DAB+ in the following cities:

• Monza Brianza and its province;
• Bergamo and its province;
• Brescia and its province;
• Pavia and its province;
• Turin and its province;
• Cuneo and its province;
• Imperia and its province;
• Genoa and Province
• Rome and its province;
• Latina and its province;
• Naples and its province;
• Caserta and its province;
• Benevento and its province;
• Salerno and its province;
• Avellino and its province;
• Florence and its province;
• Bari and its province;
• Taranto and its province;
• Brindisi and the Province;
• Lecce and Province;
• Matera and its province;
• Potenza and its province;
The Media DAB consortium aims to accompany the Radio towards the new standard of Digital Radio (DAB), throughout the national territory and not to produce other fixed costs. With this goal we have promoted DAB in Italy, giving all radio broadcasters with FM systems that have joined the Media DAB Consortium, the opportunity to have free access to MUX in the respective areas already covered in FM, covering the costs only with new digital content providers.
