Additional DAB+ mux available in Carinthia

An Italian DAB+ package has been launched near the Austrian border, which can now be received across a large area and with excellent reception in large parts of Carinthia. The 1,790-meter-high Luschariberg, known in Italian as Monte Santo di Lussari, near Tarvisio, is located only about eight kilometers from the Austrian border. On October 15, DAB Italia's package was launched on channel 7D on Luschariberg. The primary target area for the transmitter location is the Italian Canal Valley. According to current information, new transmitting antennas with omnidirectional characteristics have been erected for this purpose. They also transmit in the direction of Carinthia with a power of 400 watts ERP.
