Give us a brief introduction to your organisation and the role it plays in the radio sector
Aldena is a leading Italian company with over 45 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of professional broadcast antennas and RF systems for broadcast (DAB+, FM, TV) and telecommunication services.
In 2024, we proudly acquired Delta Meccanica, a trusted name in passive RF components such as filters, combiners, and coaxial lines. Together, we now offer one of the most complete and innovative portfolios in the market, combining antenna solutions with high-performance RF passive components — all engineered and manufactured in Italy.
This integration allows us to play a central role in supporting broadcasters worldwide with end-to-end solutions that combine reliability, performance and innovation.
What DAB+ products or services are you showcasing at IBC2025?
At IBC2025, Aldena will unveil several exciting innovations:
- The WOLRD’s first FM+DAB multiband antenna! the new ADD02 is a double dipole MULTIBAND antenna designed to ensure maximum performance and reliability for both FM (87.5–108 MHz) and DAB+ (174–240 MHz), and to meet the evolving needs of DAB+ networks with maximum performance and flexibility.
- New DAB+ Filters & Combiners: The new DAB+ product line consists of single filters, star points and CIB combiners, which ensure low insertion loss, high selectivity and temperature stabilisation. The line includes standalone filters suitable for all power levels, as well as various configuration combiners. The single filter solutions can be integrated into a 19-inch rack or mounted on a wall, while a flexible connection system is available for the combiner system.
- Live EMLAB Simulations: hands-on demonstrations of our advanced electromagnetic network planning software, allowing visitors to explore real-time antenna design, coverage analysis and engineering precision directly on the exhibition floor.
What are you most looking forward to at IBC2025?
IBC has always been a key event for Aldena — a global hub where we can connect with broadcasters, partners, and system integrators from all over the world. This year, we’re especially excited to demonstrate our fully integrated capabilities with Delta Meccanica, showing how our combined expertise supports the global rollout of DAB+ networks.
We also value the opportunity to exchange insights on the future of digital broadcasting and RF infrastructure.
What’s your best tip for a first-time visitor to IBC and/or Amsterdam?
Plan your visit in advance, schedule your meetings, and allow enough time to explore the exhibition properly.
At the same time, make sure you don't miss the chance to discover Amsterdam itself: visit the Van Gogh Museum and and enjoy a relaxed walk along the city’s iconic canals. This is the perfect balance of business and inspiration.
