TDF extends DAB+ digital radio coverage

At the beginning of July, broadcaster TDF commissioned sixteen new transmitters in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Sud-Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Grand-Est and Bretagne to broadcast digital radio. A new multiplex has been commissioned in Fréjus (Multiplex Fréjus local). The thirteen radio stations are broadcast from the TDF site at St Raphaël - Pic de l'Ours to an area of more than 200,000 inhabitants in Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël and along the coast. In addition, TDF is starting up new transmitters to extend existing coverage around Bordeaux, Toulouse and Avignon. This summer, TDF's teams are also starting the third phase of deployment of the two national DAB+ multiplexes to cover major roads and neighbouring towns.
