The Information Affairs Authority (IAA) started a DAB+ trial in cooperation with transmitter manufacturer, Rohde and Schwarz. The DAB+ trial started on 15th December 2016 with low power 300 watts. The IAA is currently broadcasting 4 programmes. The trial is planned to stay on air until end February 2017. As of 15 January the IAA had already started a field strength survey.

The Information Affairs Authority (IAA) planned to start DAB+ trial in September 2015, however this was postponed.

The IAA are planning to do DAB+ Trial in September 2015.
