EXCLUSIVE - three new research studies to be presented at this year’s WorldDAB Automotive conference

16.06.2021

Next week's WorldDAB Automotive conference features no less than three pieces of new research

Over 400 delegates have already registered to attend this year's event. There's still time to sign-up for free, to hear about their new research on in-car listening from BBC, Commercial Radio Australia and WorldDAB.

Joan Warner, CEO, Commercial Radio Australia will present on: Voice control - radio's next frontier

Commercial Radio Australia commissioned research to inform the industry's approach to voice activation. We hear an insider's view on the key findings in that report, which is not publicly released until early July.

Aleksandra Gojkovic, Researcher, BBC will present BBC research on in-car ethnography

With a growing number of cars becoming connected, the BBC looked at what this means for the BBC and where the threats and opportunities lie. This is new research which has not yet been published elsewhere.

Nick Piggott, Project Director, RadioDNS and active member of the WorldDAB Automotive Working Group will present on DAB features implementation

WorldDAB has spoken with all the major auto manufacturers to get a better understanding on the DAB and hybrid radio features that are supported in their vehicles and that are on the road today. Do they show visual information, if so what information, and from which sources?
