The digital radio app for smartphones enables listeners to switch between DAB+, WiFi and 3G/4G. Over 60 DAB+ stations have united in the creation of the app. The app is now available on the LG Stylus 2 DAB+. LG Stylus 2 DAB+ is currently the first only smartphone that offers the opportunity to receive DAB+ signals.

On Monday 12 September WorldDAB is hosting a session titled ‘Looking to the Digital Future: Digital Switchover Progress and Plans’. The significant issues being addressed in this session are the status of digital radio broadcasting in various countries as the DAB platform continues to spread across Europe, and specifically the commencement now of the switch-off of analogue FM radio - rather than the continued simulcasting of both analogue and digital services.

The car comes as standard with climate control, navigation system and DAB radio.

The national commercial radio stations, which are united in the Association of Commercial Radio Stations (VCR), have drawn up a joint digitisation plan. This plan reflects Government plans to "accelerate the digitalisation of radio in the Netherlands."

10% of all the new radios on sale in the Netherlands can receive DAB+ according to new research by GfK. In the first quarter of 2016 27,000 DAB+ receivers were sold. DAB+ was launched in the Netherlands in September 2013.

This new model comes with a radio navigation system with rear view cameras and has a DAB+ receiver on board.

The President of the Higher Audiovisual Council, Olivier Schrameck, announced yesterday at the General Assembly of the SIRTI in Paris: that DAB will continue its deployment in France. DAB applications for the cities of Lille, Strasbourg and Lyon will be open until 19 July.

Buyers who choose the 84bhp engine can get options including climate control, a leather-covered steering wheel with cruise control, alloy wheels, heated front seats, a DAB radio, rear parking sensors and heated/folding mirrors.

The model includes wireless phone charging, head-up display, digital radio, and a huge glass roof with a front sunroof opening.

The Roberts Stream 65i allows listeners to stream music over Bluetooth or listen to radio through the DAB, DAB+ tuners.
