As standard, you should expect DAB radio, sat-nav and some form of phone connectivity — be that via an auxiliary cable or most commonly, Bluetooth. All of this is usually controlled through one central screen on the dashboard, with touch operation.

You may remember our feature on the Pure Siesta S6 DAB+ and FM alarm clock radio a few weeks ago. Digital radio pioneers Pure were just unveiling it back then and I recently got a chance to sample one for myself. I was sent the Graphite coloured version, which is grey, but it’s also available in Polar, which is white. Here is what I thought of it.

By the end of the year, the closure of the FM network for NRK and the commercial channels will be completed. That does not necessarily mean you have to get rid of the car radio you have today just because it only supports FM.
