The WorldDAB session at IBC2017 examined market progress and the DSO process in Norway. During the session, Patrick Hannon, President of WorldDAB, reconfirming his request to the European Union authorities to stop the sale of analogue radio receivers in Europe.

By the end of the year, the closure of the FM network for NRK and the commercial channels will be completed. That does not necessarily mean you have to get rid of the car radio you have today just because it only supports FM.
