The latest digital radio report by GfK, released by Commercial Radio Australia, has seen some solid growth in in-car listening with another 91,900 new vehicles sold with DAB+ installed in the first quarter of 2016. Honda has become the 28th car brand to support digital radio in Australia, including DAB+ for the first time in the new Honda Civic released in mid-June.

DAB+ digital radio is continuing to grow in popularity in Australia, gaining 168,000 listeners to reach 3.52 million in the five metropolitan capital cities, according to the latest digital radio report by GfK.

Digital radio (DAB) and built-in 3D TomTom navigator can also be fitted in the car.

This model comes with Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system, six-speaker audio with DAB radio, reversing camera and electric door mirrors.

The LG Stylus 2 is the world's first smartphone to have a DAB+ tuner included.

This Pulsar features a DAB radio, reversing camera and bang up to date USB and iPod connectivity.

The car comes as standard with a 10-speaker stereo with DAB+, Bluetooth and dual USB ports, 19-inch alloys, dual-zone climate control and reversing cameras.

The car includes Alfa Romeo’s new Uconnect 3D Nav 8.8-inch infotainment system, while DAB radio, dual-zone climate control, automatic lights and wipers and cruise control with speed limiter are all easily controlled from the dash.

Even the entry level Explore has cruise control, alloy wheels and air conditioning, while the Excite adds DAB radio, Bluetooth and rear parking sensors.

Entry-level Zetec models come with 17in alloys, SYNC 2 infotainment with eight-inch touchscreen and DAB radio.
