Roberts Radio will be showcasing its innovative R100 device at IFA2016. The R100 is a multi room device that not only facilitates DAB+ but also streaming services like Spotify. It can also be used to access your own music from your smartphone, tablet or computer.

On Monday, 29.08.2016, radio programmes on ARD and Deutschlandradio were devoted to exploring the benefits of DAB+. The listeners were actively involved in the day of special programming and were able to win DAB+ devices and DAB+ enabled smartphones. It is estimated that more than 35 million listeners tuned into the special programmes.

Rheinland-Pfalz will soon launch an initiative outlining that new radio equipment must be digitally capable. The digital radio listening in Switzerland continues to grow, with 53 percent of all radio listening taking place via digital radio.

Fifty-three percent of all radio listening in Switzerland is now digital, taking these listening numbers ahead of analog for the first time. In-car digital radio listening also continues to rise steadily, currently accounting for 30 percent of the total.
