The three keynote speakers include Jimmy Buckland, director of strategy at Wireless Group; Andreas Geiss, head of unit — radio spectrum policy at the European Commission; and Patrice Gélinet from French regulator CSA.

Latvian Radio and LVRTC signed agreement regarding DAB+ trial

A tender for a DAB+ trial multiplex in Latvia has been won by “A-T TRADE MUSIC”. In November LVRTC starting mounting DAB+ equipment and the trial multiplex should be on air in November 2016 with 18 DAB+ channels. The multiplex will first be used Latvian Radio (LR) with 6 channels and shortly after commercial radio stations will be invited.
