Czech Radiokomunikace has added a new transmitter in Beroun to the network of Czech Radio's (CRo's) experimental digital audio broadcasting (DAB). Signal coverage and quality will thus increase. Through the experimental broadcasting by the CRo DAB Prague multiplex, the audience can tune in to CRo channels in Prague and Central Bohemia, with coverage at nearly one fifth of the population (17 percent).

Today in Switzerland, one third of households already have a DAB+ radio. To encourage others to switch to DAB+, Ofcom has launched a two-year information campaign to educate the public about the switch to DAB+.
