RTÉ plans to broadcast via DAB+ in the UK

The Irish radio network RTÉ is planning to broadcast a version of RTÉ Radio 1 in the UK via the DAB networks. The domestic Radio 1 program will be enriched with information and broadcasts specifically for the Irish community in the UK.

DAB + in Poland

Privatradio-Mux in Eastern Poland started operation in Kielce at the beginning of March. Since the start of 2016 there has also been a test operation running in Szczawnica, Southern Poland. Polskie Radio has now established a DAB+ network in Poland, which supplies most of the major cities.

Latest DAB+ results

GfK has released the year's first DAB+ survey results, showing cumulative audience numbers for each station. The figures show that 3.6 million Australians, or 27% of the population in the five capital cities, listen to digital radio via DAB+ devices each week.
