Forever FM will air on DAB in Manchester, and available also to stream online wherever you are.The station won't have any news or chit-chat, it's just going to be music, as on the television show itself, the station will feature a wide selection of tunes from the '80s, '90s and '00s.

Forever FM, the fictional station that featured in Peter Kay's Car Share, is to become an actual broadcast station. It will air on DAB in Manchester and will also be available to stream online across the rest of the country.

From mid-May candidate channels will be able to submit their applications to participate in the new radio landscape in Belgium. The Minister of Media, Sven Gatz is behind the plans, which have now been approved, to reform Flemish radio by moving broadcasting from FM analogue to DAB+ digital radio.

The Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Henk Kamp, has launched an internet consultation in response to the intention under article 3.10 of the Telecommunications Act to auction up regional DAB+ capability in layer 4. There are frequencies available in the three top regional allotments: eight licenses for Northwestern channel 9D, fourteen for Southwest channel 9D, and nine available for South channel 7A.  As existing permits are not going to be extended, this is an opportunity for newcomers to get a license to broadcast on DAB+ digital radio.
