Preparing for a smooth radio switch-over

On April 21, P4, Radio Norge and some local radio stations will terminate their FM transmissions in Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal. Next NRK will switch off their FM transmissions on April 26 in Telemark, Buskerud, Hedmark and Oppland. The radio switch-over will be implemented in the rest of the country during summer and autumn 2017.

German government to make mandatory the presence of a digital interface to most radios

Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) is working to promote digital radio services by mandating certain features in new radios. Their draft recommendation recommends that high-quality radio receivers may only be sold if they are suitable for the reception of digital signals.

Organised jointly by the Government Public Relations Department (PRD), which represents the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the event will explore the major aspects of the theme the "Creating Radio with Passion: Looking into the World of Radio”.
