Denmark could be next to begin FM shutdown

The Danish government previously agreed that when the digital radio share reaches 50%, the FM band will be shut down within two years and DAB+ will be the main way for listeners to receive radio broadcasts (reported by Radio.NL). Denmark’s Liberal Alliance political party has indicated that if the rise continues as it has been, the magic number of 50% will be reached by 2018.
