The Swiss government is launching a new advertising campaign in 2019 to promote DAB+ to run for years to promote the country's transition from FM to DAB+.

Swiss regulator OFCOM is preparing a tender to select an agency to run a four-year information campaign on the transition to the digital radio standard DAB. The project has a budget of CHF 5.5 million, and the campaign is expected run from 2019.

To inform Swiss residents about the transition to digital radio, OFCOM will launch an information campaign to run from 2019 at a budget of 5.5m francs, and is running a public tender to advertising agencies to run the campaign.

Dorothee Bär, German minister of State for Digitization discusses the transition taking place to DAB+ radio in Germany. "The priority is for market participants to develop a transition scenario, something that has been well done in other countries. In the center of attention will be the question of when enough listeners listen to the radio digitally, so that a change is possible."

The entry-level Style and the Zetec models include DAB radio.
