Not only more convenient, but also with higher quality sound, DAB+ technology has so many advantages that it will eventually replace FM.

On 18 September 2017, the media council of the Sächsische Landesanstalt für private broadcasting and new media (SLM) agreed to add to future programme offering on DAB+ in Leipzig with the addition of a local music programme for a youth audience, issuing a temporary license for Leipzig Beatzz on DAB+.
