In-car digital radio pilot scheme, Go Digital Car, launches in Surrey

To mark the launch of the pilot which is taking place exclusively in Surrey for three months from 16 October - and to demonstrate that any vehicle can be upgraded to a digital radio – a digital radio unit was fitted into a tractor owned by local farmer, John Nicholas, at Halfords in Redhill at the launch event.

Croatia will start a one-year DAB+ test at the end of November. The Medienanstalt has now published the list of the 16 private radio stations that will participate in it. A selection decision had to be taken as a total of 25 applications had been received, but only 16 were available.
