Toyota has announced a refresh of its Auris range for 2018, featuring a higher entry-level specification. Includes DAB radio.

P4 and Radio Norway will end on FM in Eastern Norway Akershus, Oslo, Østfold and Vestfold on December 8. From then, listeners must have a digital radio to hear all the national channels in Eastern Norway, "says Ole Jørgen Torvmark, general manager of Digital Radio Norway in a press release.

The advent of DAB radio in North Yorkshire has allowed for a dedicated service to launch this year in partnership with The York Business Improvement District.

Sahaga AS has announced their radio brand POP will be represented by Selek/3 S Company in the Danish market, as part of the country's move to DAB+. Denmark has one of the highest numbers of DAB users per capita in the world, with 46% of the population having access to a digital radio.

Media Authority has received an application for a construction license for creation and operation of transmitters for digital local radio in Region 9: Ringerike, Hallingdal and Numedal. The region currently has no local radio offerings at DAB. Interested parties who wish to submit competing applications must do so by 22 December 2017.
