Radio analysis Bavaria 2017: 20 percent have digital radio

A report by Bayerische Landeszentrale für neue Medien, has reported that 20.1 percent of the population aged over 14 or over in Bavaria have at least one DAB+ receiver in their household. LM President Siegfried Schneider welcomes the development: "The increasing popularity of digital radio receivers in Bavaria is a very positive signal for digital radio across Germany..."

DAB+: A look back at the last 6 months

An important achievement was the adoption of the "Action Plan for the Transformation of Radio Broadcasting into the Digital Age" by the Digital Radio Board.
