Digital listening surges closer to 50%

Digital listening pushed ever closer to 50% by reaching a new record share of 48.7%, a percentage share growth of 7.5% compared to 45.3% in Q2 2016, according to RAJAR Q2 2017 data released today. Changes planned for DAB networks in Franconian region of Bavaria

On June 1, the Media Council of the Bavarian State Center for New Media approved the simulcast distribution of the Franconian local radio stations. This means that in the north of Bavaria, a total of 14 local FM programs will also be distributed via DAB+ on the networks found on channels 10A, 8C and 10B.

NRK continues to improve DAB coverage
