You are cordially invited to attend the WorldDMB Car Manufacturer Workshop in Hildesheim (near Hannover), Germany on the 27th May 2009. WorldDMB recognises the importance of working with the car industry to ensure the in-car digital radio experience gives consumers the quality they have come to expect from digital broadcasting. The WorldDMB ‘Digital Radio Receiver Profiles’ released in 2008 some of the issues faced by car manufacturers when implementing digital radio however, they need to go further. Discuss the future of digital broadcasting including planned digital radio services, use of multimedia applications including TPEG and how the receiver profiles can be developed for the car industry.
