Polsat is seeking the release of the frequency band currently occupied by the terrestrial MUX-8

BCAST, part of the Polsat Plus Group, is calling for the 174–230 MHz band to be completely freed up from MUX-8 television broadcasts and allocated for DAB+ digital radio. The television channels would be moved to MUX-5 in the UHF band. This is one of the positions put forward during the consultations organised by the Office of Electronic Communications regarding the new VHF spectrum allocation plan.
