WorldDAB Summit to examine radio’s digital future in Vienna
WorldDAB says the WorldDAB Summit2026 will bring broadcasters, regulators and automotive representatives together in Vienna on Nov. 19 to discuss DAB+ adoption, radio policy and the medium’s place in a multiplatform future. The event will open with a keynote debate, “Why Radio Wins,” featuring WorldDAB President Jacqueline Bierhorst, Corinna Drumm of the Association of Austrian Private Broadcasters (VÖP) and Wouter Quartier, head of radio at the European Broadcasting Union. Media commentator Matt Deegan will moderate the discussion on radio’s relevance, broadcast’s role in a multiplatform future and how the industry can fund it.
