Digital Radio Deutschland welcomes strong interest in the second Federal Mux
Digital Radio Deutschland has welcomed the interest in proposed nationwide DAB+ multiplex. Dr. Willi Steul, Chairman of Digital Radio Deutschland said "DAB+ is growing rapidly. With the new private DAB+ programmes we expect a strong increase in the acceptance of DAB+ among listeners."

FM switch off will come to Germany

Latvia expanded the coverage of DAB
The Latvian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Centre has announced the expansion of the DAB+ reception areas. At the beginning of the DAB+ trial in 2016 the DAB+ coverage zone covered a radius of 40 km around Riga. Now it has increased to 60 kilometers.

Germany: 4 parties for development 2nd nationwide DAB + network
