SABC/ WorldDMB Workshop on DAB+ Digital Radio Rollout

WorldDMB in conjunction with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Southern African Digital Broadcasting Association (SADIBA) will host a DAB+ Digital Radio workshop for public and private broadcasters in South Africa. Topics covered will include Global Update on DAB+ rollout, regulation & licensing, DAB+ business case, DAB+ receivers, network network and coverage planning, practical considerations & suppliers, DAB+ content generation, and DAB+ implementation planning. The workshop is being hosted in light of recent news that South Africa has allotted 18 slots for DAB+ in the VHF band as the country begins the transition to digital radio.
