But only those listening to a specific FM frequency would receive the messages. MEDIA BROADCAST will continue its expansion of the nationwide DAB+ digital radio transmitter network by opening another nine transmitter locations in Bavaria, Brandenburg, Bremen, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. By the end of 2016 it hopes to grow their number of transmitter sites to 110, giving 95% mobile outdoor coverage.
