Norway's vision for DAB+ in tunnels

With the DAB+ switchover planned for 2017, the Norwegian Road Authority plans to increase coverage and the number of stations carried. All tunnels longer than 500 meters that are used by over 5,000 cars a day will need to be covered with DAB+ and will offer all available radio stations.

Digital radio across Italy

By 2017 90% of Italy should be covered by DAB and earlier this year South Tyrol became the first Italian region to spread DAB into tunnels as well. It is estimated that 70% of the Italian population is reached by an outdoor DAB+ signal.
