New DAB+ funding for Dutch regional broadcasters for two more years

Australian radio consumption on the rise, according to new study
Key findings show a rise in radio consumption across multiple platforms in the marketplace, with 88% of people having listened to an AM/FM/DAB+ either via free to air broadcast or online in the last week, up from 85% in 2017. Netherlands: More than 885,500 DAB+ receivers sold
The growth of DAB+ in the Netherlands continues, as more than 885,500 DAB+ radios (including car radios) were sold at the beginning of 2018, according to data from GfK and JATO Dynamics and presented by Digital Radio NL. If growth continues at its current rate, the 1 million mark will be passed this year.
