Bulgaria launches DAB+ trial multiplex
On May 1st BORT (Bulgarian Operators Radio and Television) and ET DIP Trading launched a DAB+ trial multiplex which will last for six months. The transmitter will cover the capital Sofia and surrounding area. The multiplex will contain 16 radio stations not currently available on analogue.

Ukraine calls for more DAB+ applications
Ukraine’s National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting (NRADA) is now accepting applications for the four places remaining on the DAB+ multiplex in Kiev. The Council is accepting applications from 17 May to 15 June, with results to be announced on 14 August.
